After moving to Austin, Texas, in 2012, Chérie Amour built a career in visual communications through web design, photography, video production and graphic design, working with a variety of companies, such as Dell EMC, Dun & Bradstreet, Cart Designers, Xtra Mile Media and Shaesby Designs.

Prior to joining the ¾«¶«´«Ã½ Marketing and Communications team in 2024, Chérie Amour served as marketing coordinator and senior designer for the Office of the Dean of Students at The University of Texas at Austin.

Chérie Amour also spent time as an educator, having worked with students as an art teacher at Indian Oasis Elementary, a summer camp counselor, and an after-school site supervisor for the YMCA of Texas.

She is looking forward to utilizing her skills and experience in support of the engagement and connection of ¾«¶«´«Ã½ with its vast and diverse community. She is proud to be a part of the continuing and distinguished story of ¾«¶«´«Ã½.
